beautiful! I really like the outline of the dress and implied lines in contrast to the fully formed face/hands and unity of colour. I never know what 'category' to put your art to, Im always faced with the dilemma of it when Im putting it into my favourites! That, of course, itsnt the purpose of the artwork though!
beautiful series! expresses well your feelings, but, since I am feeling quite the same for completely different reasons, I can tell you that this feeling of "incompleteness" can let you discover something more about who you really are. and I guess that's what we should really become! as you say, we have possibilities: let's not waste them! it must be a parent's pride to see how children grow up top be indipendent and can walk through life with their own strength. a big hug for you
What a great comment - thank you! Yes, we face this question at a whole lot of stages on our journey. When one chapter of our story is winding down, and we're curious at to what the next chapter is going to be. And the constant wondering - I am the hero in the movie of my own life? Or the villain? or just a supporting actor?
Exactly- that's the point of it all! my life belongs to me, I want to be the hero of my own movie! ...most of the time though we are just supporting actors that watch and don't act, or plain villains doing things we later regret. anyways, that constant becoming, the closing of a chapter and the seamless opening of the net one, to me this "movement" is life! if you never change you're merely existing, not really living. this is how I see this!
too kind, I just like to share the emotions I feel when I look at your art! and I like discussing the creative process and its outcomes. many cheers for you my friend
